Sushi in Shibuya

Hey hey, how are you doing? I hope where ever you are isn’t as cold as here. It’s windy and about 10c, yet that couldn’t stop me from exploring Tokyo. Walked a bit around Shibuya and found this place called Tsukiji Honten which is a kaiten sushi restaurant. All plates are 120 yen, except for the toro (fatty tuna) and some other premium seafood like uni.

The sushi was decent for the price and I just ate ten plates which made my stomach expand a bit. Usually that only happens to me when I had like 18 plates or something. Guess I need to train my stomach to hold more food again and I know exactly theĀ  cure for this; Yakiniku! Next time I’m going to this place called Gut’s Soul where you have an all-you-can eat course with meat, meat and meat.

I feel my stomach crying for food again.

Going home from work. Not an easy task to do so in one of the largest station of Tokyo.
Walking through the station during rush hour is like trying to survive the Place Charles de Gaulle, the infamous roundabout in Paris.

Helping my friend with a short movie on the streets of Naka-Meguro, this girl cycled towards us and kept on staring at us. Guess she doesn’t see a lot of Dutchies.

Hey hey,

Since I suck at blogging I thought I’d show you this video by Nubero.

Blogging just ain’t my thing haha. I’ll try to up some pictures again soon. It’s just that I don’t take any time out to sit down and actually do some work to get some posts up. I bow my head to the bloggers as there is a lot of time involved in maintaining a good one.

Day 262, originally uploaded by CrashaCat.

Halloween in Japan is for the past few years now gaining in popularity. Not only due to the fact that a lot of companies are aggressively marketing this American event to make more profit..

A well known party amongst foreigners in Tokyo is the infamous Yamanote Train Party. But a lot of Japanese holds the opinion that partying in the train with booze and being obnoxious is not done, since it disturbs the regular commuters. There is this one large Japanese community called 2chan and they are so opposed to the foreigners partying there that try and prevent the the event.

As for how. See the pictures and an superbly edited video *cough* will be shortly online. That is, if I figured it out how to edit a video at all.

For more in depth information about this phenomenon, check this post by Japanprobe.com out.

Wait.. Maybe they’re Japanese people that are actually participating in the Halloween party and are dressed up like grumpy extremists. That’s hardcore…
